This website has been created in conjunction with 'The What's on in Caernarfon Guide 2006' to inform locals and visitors to the town about the vast array of cultural and sporting activities and events happening in and around Caernarfon.

04/07/2009 Mike Peters Rocks Snowdon 
The internationally acclaimed singer Mike Peters will host the Snowdon Rocks event to raise money for cancer services in North Wales. The event includes a walk up the Llanberis Pass with a special acoustic concert at the summit followed by an acoustic finale in a marquee at the foot of the mountain outside the Pen y Ceunant Cafe situated at the beginning of the path.

05/07/2009 Traditional Hungarian Drummers 
A popular group of Hungarian Drummers, the Regelo Feher Taltos, are coming to Y Maes, Caernarfon on Sunday 5th of July. They promote traditional sounds, movements and clothing of the ancient music makers and traditional keepers from the Carpathian Basin in a new form. This year they are performing not only in the Llangollen Festival but on Y Maes. The free performance starts on Y Maes at 1.30 and they will also go on to at Galeri at 4.15. They seek to promote a better understanding of cultural values and at the same time speak to what unites the Human Being beyond cultural differences.
